CHWs spec construction leans towards Country / Craftman-Style homes.  We have a reputation for attention to detail and quality, with wood flooring, tile, granite, wood-wrapped windows and trim gracing our homes. It is our goal to always be able to provide one-on-one attention to each and every customer. Our custom projects receive attention not only from the entire crew but, more importantly, from Ken Howlett, Contractor/Owner. We feel our customer(s) needs are better served with the personal attention he provides our jobs. With 25 years of construction experience, it is Ken's knowledge and hands-on approach that guides the project from start to finish. His skills, craftsmanship and on-going guidance at a jobsite, result in a consistently high quality product and satisfied customers. Ken is a Contractor with "hammer in hand."

CHW is able to mill and create many of its wood features because of our fully-equipped mill shop. We have the capability of building custom doors and built-in units for homes, as well as custom door and window trims. This is of great importance when remodeling older homes that may have trim profiles no longer available. We are able to duplicate any profile a customer may desire.

We engage in light commercial jobs, limited to remodel of existing retail and office space.
